StoneWood & ACRES: A Thriving Relationship
WEXFORD, Pa. (March 2, 2014) -- When StoneWood needed a company to manage the building’s leasing services, they knew they could count on Allegheny Commercial Real Estate Service (ACRE's) skilled and knowledgeable professionals to obtain tenants and help the building become a place for local businesses to succeed.
StoneWood, the capstone building of the Stonewood developments in Wexford, Pa., includes Stonewood Commons and Stonewood East. The building features large banks of windows, skylights, decks on each floor, outside eating areas, and a gorgeous waterfall spanning from the second floor into the lobby.
“The new StoneWood has exceeded both owner and tenant expectations,” said Kate Edelmann. “The interior and exterior are both Class A. There was as much thought put into the exterior and grounds as the interior finishes.”
The 40,000 square-foot building was designed by architect Eric Smith, president of Eric Smith Associates, P.C. in Steamboat Springs, Colo. Smith, who grew up in Pittsburgh, returned after a 60-year hiatus to design the building. After opening two months ago, the building is already 75 percent occupied. Current tenants include Lancaster Safety Construction, Inc., National HVAC, Integrity Wealth Management, Dr. Kenneth Chang Ophthalmology, McKinley Carter Wealth Services, and Dr. Paul Nussbaum Psychology.Read about StoneWood in the Tribune Review.
